I know it is still early in the race, but which candidate are you currently supporting? Why are you supporting them? This will be the first year I vote, so I am looking for an insightful discussion.
I was for Ben Carson because of his Christian values and conservative common sense solutions to problems but now I no longer think he can win so I'm throwing my support behind Ted Cruz.
Cruz is the most consistent small government conservative in the race. He believes in Christian principles and has had a passion for the the Constitution since his youth. He also has displayed moral courage in opposing his own party when they turned on the people who elected them, by rolling over and giving in to Obama's big government spending spree.
