I did not listen to Bill Clinton's acting ability speech. Ugh!  People accused as being a RAPIST many times belongs in prison, not in the WH.  The Clintons are above the law?  I think not in God's courts.

Yoko Ono, said she had an affair with Hillary in the 70's. It never got national coverage of course, but it did get international coverage.  Hillary is a fake? ...

      I'm having strange computer problems.

A great time to have sex was in the 70s, free love. Now you got to pay for it , if you don't get into line.

You think your computer is bugged by Hillary"s campaign. Lo

Come on, both Hilly and Donny are fakes and liars, but I put money on Hilly winning the electoral vote.  She has a sharper intellect and is going to own him in the debates. Funny name calling isn't going to work any more.

I'm going to miss his hilarious soundbites tho. Hopefully he won't be too discouraged from running for mayor or governor so he can provide us with more politotainment.

It does not sound like any of you, on either side, has any interest in what is wholesome, positive, getting on with the joys of life.
All you are interested in is Hollywood-style entertainment, glitter, elecution contests, make believe religion ....  and being forgiven by a non-existent "god" for stupidity.
None of your politics is genuine.  It's all a farce.
We are getting similar in Australia.
Come back down to earth everyone - there is work to be done if we are going to survive as a species.  Let's all work together.

Yes, no time for all this because as you say, Jonny, "there is work to be done if we are to survive as a species." As a woman who was left after 20 years of marriage, no one abhors infidelity more than I do, but to let these issues get in the way of our children's, grandchildren's, great-grandchildren's future on this planet is ever so much more selfish and indulgent than the personal actions of one iddy-biddy person as Bill Clinton. We forgive infidelity by celebrities and even family all the time - right, left, and sideways. We, as a nation of intrepid human beings, are above all this bickering.  It's a lazy distraction from the work before us.

Whatever people do with sex is none of our business. As long as you are not harming them.
A blow job is good, fun and sometimes happy.

Killing of a million middle Eastern children is bad, very very bad and bad for you.

With you there, CP.  Let the sex continue, let it be fun, let it be responsible but left to the individuals concerned....provided no one is bullied, cajoled, intimidated or harmed in any way.  No one else's business.

I also agree that to concentrate on the children of the United States being killed in the course of their military duties, and ignoring the plight of thousands of Islamic families who have been bombed, tortured, left to starve and disowned is, if nothing else, totally immoral.

Does that Jesus forgive such iniquities?  About time there was some penance imposed.

From bringing up this topic of a million children killed in middle about two dozen times. Only two American thought it was wrong, others argue about it, yet no remorse for them and the war $ cost greater than any wars in human  history.

Karma Always comes around.  Where Germany did remorse over World world 2 and they are happy for it and are the work horse of Europe.

Then issue about sex comes along. Then everyone piles on the problems like some wild world record orgy festivals. Then it solved nothing like war. The only they did was interference into someone personal life that should have not be there.

Take all the drugs and sex you want, it's your body, not the Governments. Just remember and keep it personal, only rule do not harm.

I would object just as much to a doctored photo of Trump leering at Christina Aguilera's breasts.

Trashy and juvenile humor of any kind reflect badly on a site's brand and credibility. Casual visitors who find it in poor taste -- and I promise you that many do -- will think less of HubPages, visit it less often and therefore look at your articles less often.

Please trust me on this. I have managed sites with millions of forum page views a month. Trash hurts a site's credibility.

I asked not because I don't think you'd do the same for Trump, but because I don't see how this is a new low. Most of the forum content is nothing that viewers couldn't conceivably find in poor taste. Even harmless things like a 900 page "say anything in 3 words" thread look unprofessional. I'm just wondering what's so different about this post that made you and others here react so negatively.

In your experience, is that only true of UGC writing sites? What about sites like YouTube? Or sites like BuzzFeed?

Also, I just quickly tried accessing the forums as a casual visitor and it's not that easy to do. The forums are not listed in the front pages or via a Google search. You'd have to either click on a user profile, go to activity and click on a recent forum post to stumble in the forums; or you can search "Hubpages forums" on Google, find the "Recent HubPages Changes" thread, and from there find the main forum link.

In other words, casual visitors would have to go well out of their way to find these forums.

I consider myself a Progressive Democrat whose moral compass is strong and based on my mother's values as expressed to me by her through poems and thoughts of philosophers she'd recite to me night after night as a child:
        "If" by Kipling,
("If you can keep your head when those about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you..." )
        "The Desiderata,"
        (As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others);
        "The Prayer of St. Francis"
("Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
        where there is injury, pardon,
        Where there is despair, hope);
        Shakespeare
("The quality of mercy is not strained, it droppeth as a gentle rain from heaven"
My morals were shaped by songs my mother sang:
"If I have wounded any soul today,
If I have caused one foot to go astray,
If I have walked in my own willful way,
        Dear Lord, forgive!
If I have uttered idle words or vain,
If I have turned aside from want or pain,
Lest I myself shall suffer through the strain,
        Dear Lord, forgive!"

I was raised religiously by Catholic nuns and knew the Baltimore catechism inside and out.  (Why did God make you?  "To show forth his goodness..." )

I am only one person on the left, and this is my face.  This is what I look like; these are my values.  And the people I hang out with, the people who I consider friends and co-workers, are people who were raised as I was, have marched in protests with me,  and have worked with in getting legislation passed - legislation, back in the day, so deaf people could have interpreters and tty phones; so that first generation, low income, and special needs college students would get professional tutoring to be on an equal footing; so that FMC would clean up the Mississippi river into which they dumped toxins.  These are the "liberals" I know.  These are the people who share my views.
You can define us as you did above or you can listen to who we tell you we are. Our morals are no different than yours. We just view things from a different angle. If you met my husband and me in a bar, we'd probably have a great time and click our bottles of beer together. He might beat you though if you play 8 Ball, 9 Ball, 10 Ball, One Pocket, or straight pool. (He knows his way around pool table.)

The whole of  indignation of the left is pure  and simple  hypocrisy !    So somehow  people on the right  weren't" raised " correctly !

The problem with liberal America  , is that you all consider yourselves  , "progressive" , " moderate " ,
" For the underdog " ,  'Socially  enlightened " ,"gender-ally  enlightened " all  of which  is simply one more way of saying that the left is somehow morally superior to all others in America .

I say hypocrisy - Because when Bill Clinton spoke the other night  , he  referred  to 'I " , about a thousand times  !

When Obama spoke last night he also said   "I " , about  a thousand times  !

Tonight when Hillary speaks , she too will glorify the "Glass Ceiling ", you know  the one  she broke  right over Billy's  head the night he got into the coat  closet with  a young Monica ! Or after   Bill's dozens of other affairs that  probably broke rape laws all across America .    So where is  ALL the indignation  from the left now in women's rights , ?

Do me a favor  , tonight when Hillary speaks "   Count out how many "I 's "   she refers to !

"I "------today , IS the most prominent  characteristic of  the elitist  liberal  political officeholder  ,  Oh , and apparently their  followers too !

Everyone is a hypocrite.  It's called trying and failing and trying again.  I would be the first to admit to hypocrisy, so would every human being in the world when it comes down to it.  I have enormous regrets as to who I am in the world, how I present myself and how I actually act in the world, how I failed. Do you think I don't see my friend who is a Republican who takes young kids as foster children and has given her life to them, keeps in touch with them through years and years and compare myself negatively to her?  Do you think I don't know how my other conservative friend has patience and time and smiles to everyone when I just want to be myself and write?  There's a reason why people like me have understanding of those who fall short; it's because of how we've *&$*ed  up and how much we know we fail at what others do naturally.  There is no moral high ground here. My whole life I've been called selfish. Being called selfish here and being called out to count the number of "I's" I as a proclaimed progressive use is nothing new to me. I'm a selfish, only child, self-absorbed person who failed in my marriage and my life.  What else do you want to say to me that hasn't been said or acted upon?  I concede that you, in your life, may be a much more morally righteous person.  I don't know.  I really don't care.  All I care about is whether or not I keep striving to be better than I am.  If that means following in your footsteps, that means following in your footsteps. All I know is that I admire the virtues I see people like Bernie and Tim Kaine STRIVING for.  If they fail, even miserably, call them hypocrites. I call them human.

Well,   what to say ? I actually  admire your humble self ,    your friends  and family sound great .   My problem is simply with the rhetoric of the left that  hides the fact that  the same left is all about  taking more from all the others to serve their impression of  all our  needs , -- The conservative wants less government  my friend  !  THAT is my whole purpose for  being in these stupid political forums !   Other than that  ,  I have no need or desire to offend you or anyone .  AND , as a conservative  , I argue for less intrusive government in our lives , they take our money , our liberties   , our pride and humanity from us  and turn our environments into inner city slums .

Life in America was far better decades ago than now  , In my humble opinion , that is because of liberal  intrusions into all our lives .......!
