Pro-lifers are staunch, even vehement opponents of abortion. Many are also against any form of birth control. If you are a pro-lifer, are you against contraception as well as abortion? Conversely, if you are pro-choice, do you strongly contend that the goal of pro-lifers are outlaw abortion? Do you as a pro-choicer further believe that pro-lifers want to outlaw all aspects of women's reproductive choices?
"What hypocrisy to call such anti-humanitarian people 'pro-life.' Call them what they are -- antichoice. ["Ms.," Oct. 8, 1978]"
Pro-lifers are anti-choice. Choice of what? The choice to prevent the growth of a body/vehicle for a soul. A soul enters at the moment an egg and sperm unite. The union creates a spark which is perceived on the astral plane. The strongest soul enters the zygote. If aborted, the soul re-enters the astral plane where it waits for another spark. There's a lot of traffic going from the physical world to the astral plane and vice-versa. I wonder what the rejected soul experiences. Maybe nothing, Maybe something. We'll never know. I have never heard any true wisdom from any enlightened master regarding this issue. All anyone can do is go by their own conscience and sensibility. Most women who have had an abortion feel extremely deep regret and are affected for the remainder of their lives.
I would say the real question is this: IS it murder??? If so, it is to be avoided.
Is the karma (law of spiritual justice) of killing ones own child the experience of being aborted, oneself?
There is a lot we do not know. Why do we not know? Because we are not tuned into the spiritual realm.
One can understand the wish to not kill the beginnings of human life. But yes, there may be times when it is best to stop the growth of a human being because there just is no way to take care of it.
And this should always be a very carefully weighed option.
Pro lifers, in my opinion, are cold hearted. They do want to subjugate women to their demands and use the most heinous tactics in pushing their agenda. And yes, their goal is to have complete control over the uterus of all American women.
It's a mystery to me how any human being can consider it their right to impose their beliefs on other human beings in such a manner. It's a disgrace and an embarassment to a free society.
I mean to be honest, i dont agree with abortion at all but im not going to say that some women dont have a good reason for getting one. I could understand a woman getting an abortion if she was in an abusive relationship or other scenarios but what I dont like is when women get abortions just because. when they had all the means and resources to take care of their kid but for some unexplainable reason decide not to. I honestly believe that if a person doesnt want children they shouldnt be having sex because each time there is a possibility you could get pregnant. And i think if a person is having sex knowing that they arent prepared for children then its irresponsible because they are putting themselves in a difficult situation. Myself im 18 years old and I decided that Im not going to have sex until i know I can take care of a child in case it happens.

Like the ebbs and flows of the ocean's tides, the abortion debate surges and then relaxes - right now America is in the heart of one of the biggest surges we've seen in a long time. With new legislation emerging on late-term abortion, it seems that we may once again see the topic come to the...

Is it possible for pro-life and pro-choice people to find any common ground? Too often, the argument becomes fixated on the morality and legality of abortion, which are both worthwhile topics. But in the end, I think that almost all Americans would like to reduce the number of abortions. So why...

I, personally, have been speaking out against Roe v. Wade since I was a young teenager in 1973. I've never wavered. I've never backed down, even when I was the only one in the room, defending precious LIFE! Now the matter of abortion goes back to the States, where it always belonged. Again,...

Presently, a woman has, by law, the freedom to end her pregnancy. After all, its her life and her body. Is this issue, free-choice abortion, a matter of politics? Social science/politics is about what is good for society as a whole. Is abortion good or bad in the light of what is best for...

NEVER, EVER understand about a woman's unmitigated right to choose & control her reproductive destiny?
