The news of the latest atrocities by Assad should remind us the bigger story.
1. Iraq war - the WMD that was missing...The lie put out by the left that George Bush lied to get us into this conflict for the purpose of oil...No WMD was ever found.
2. Fact is Saddam did have WMD.
3. Before the Iraq war, convoys of trucks left Iraq and went to Syria...
4. Those weapons of WMD were hidden by Syria to be used another day perhaps.
5. Where did these chemical weapons originated?
6. George Bush was owed an apology. He would never get it from the left.
The other big story is a few years ago, a treaty was signed with the UN and Russia and everyone supposedly removing and destroying these WMD in Syria. Susan Rice and John Kerry and Barack Obama all claim credits for this.
Now we know, they - Syria can't be trusted. Why did our leaders were so naive? Or did they just want to look the other way...
The results is hundreds of innocent people including many children died as a result of this failed policy of the Obama Administration. Did he really deserve the Nobel Peace Prize?
Should he give it back?
What about the UN? They were wrong about nuclear weapons development in Iraq, in North Korea and in Iran... now, they have lost total credibility in my mind. What good is their weapon inspectors?
How can they claim they removed all WMD and destroyed them? It is obviously false.
The problem with all these groups and individuals are, there is no accountability.
Where is John Kerry and Susan Rice now?
Why don't they explain how this recent event happened?
OMG! jackclee, there are so many erroneous implications in this OP... Maybe you should start with a few basics, and hope a conversation develops from there.

Ok,
"... Those weapons of WMD were hidden by Syria to be used another day perhaps."
What proof do you have for this statement?
GA
So where did the WMD ended up? There are only a few possibility don't you think?
1. They were destroyed by the UN inspectors back in 2003.
2. Saddam buried them in the dessert so we could not find them.
3. They were moved to another ally of Saddam before the war started...
My bet is on 3 and Syria was the logical ally.
How is that for connecting the dots.
What proof do you need to see?
More bodies on the streets.
Ok,
"... Those weapons of WMD were hidden by Syria to be used another day perhaps."
Or....
Iraq war - the WMD that was missing...
What proof do you have for these statements?
Can your supply supportive information that is more than a talking points reiteration?
GA
I giess I answered you while you were typing. Haha
The links below should help you understand where I am coming from...
You need to connect the dots...
A chemical attack like this just doesn't happen in a vacuum.
Someone is responsible when innocent lives are lost for no good reason.
Yes, bad things happen in wars...
However, this should have been prevented. If we had only done the right thing the first time with Saddam. Instead, we had chants lie "Bush lied and people died..."
Once more... OMG! You post a Wikipedia link that has "conjecture" in its title!!!!!!
And you post it as a bare link to boot;. Geesh!
GA
What I am talking about is to ask people to be more vigilent in the pursuit of truth. They have real consequences in people's lives.
Syria is just the latest example.
What I am also saying is what happened in Iraq has direct consequences today.
People have a short memory and unfortunately, our news media are not reporting the truth and in fact promotes fake news to support their agenda.

It just happened in Syria and guess who did it? The so-called Free Syria Army. Most of the victims were civilians! But what do we care? We are so far!Where do those chemical weapons come from if not from the West? Since radical islamists possess chemical weapons with our blessing why did we make a...

Are we (the USA) really going to launch an unprovoked attack upon Syria? Really?Obama said a long time ago if the Syrian regime used chemical weapons in Syria it would cross a line. The last thing Asaad wanted was to have USA involvement. So, it makes no sense...

Given it was not proven that the Syrian government was involved in the Ghouta attack, why would they have to dismantle their chemical arsenal whereas few miles away a greater danger is shadowing the whole middle east (Israel's arsenal) without measures to be taken? In a futuristic peaceful vision...

Let's say Israel hadn't bombed the Syrian nuclear program into oblivion decades ago, or the world lets Iran develop nuclear capability and they ship some suitcase nukes to Assad, or North Korea sneaked some in. In any case, what I am posing is what if Assad had tactical nukes. Now,...
