Time to RETURN the boycott to the leftist media ?

   The left stream media has been doing this for years to  conservative media pundits ,  It is time for conservatives to  play the same dirty  tricks  game ,  And we all know that the left has lost the offices  of senate , congress , governors , ...............Yet they play this bias media game just as they did their losing political strategies.  And ,they cannot win the media war either because Corporate  America is waking up to consumerism's  reaction .
   
   The absolute and total hypocrisy  of the left  as they proclaim THEIR media as "free speech "?, This  is about to come to an end .  If all of the current media comes to an end  it will be a losing game completely for democrats .   
   
   Should we on the right boycott now and watch the leftist media  totally die ?

         You , like most of the left ,have no clue about how severe the effect on the right this  leftist media bias blitz is having  on the general population  do you ? At this point the left has effectively blotted out most ethical media , that will create problems.   A media -civil -war is going to ignite deeper issues , I think.

            I don't think the media is alienating the population. I reckon the issue is that many powerful companies and individuals in the US are finding it hard to live in a world where the facts contradict their positions and their ways of making money.
            
            The only way for the old, heavily polluting industries to continue operating is by rejecting the facts altogether. Hence, the 'false news' phenomena.
            
            It is undeniably fracturing your country and there will be consequences.

      No. I think the individual should view a wide range of media sources; taking into account the bias shown by each author, and use the facts they glean from it to make up their own minds. Freedom of the press never implied impartiality by the press.
      
      Too many people tend to be too easily swayed. It's as if they don't want to take the time to make up their own minds and would rather be led or (more likely) they go with what they believe to be the majority opinion because they don't want to stand for what they believe, if it is at odds with the majority. Too sad.

         And almost all liberals assume , conservatives  are bigoted , "Fox news" , the only one conservatives listen to , sadly conservative America is more informed of  America and the media sources than the left.   The left has one source of insight , from first grade to graduation day . Group think.

            I will agree that it appears to be drilled into the heads of many liberals that any independent thought is to be frowned upon. But, that appears to be in the heads of many conservatives also. Classifying any conservative as bigoted is ridiculous, but if you sling mud enough times some will stick (in the minds of some) and that is the goal. To demonize the opposition. To scream loudly enough to ensure that many think it is the voice of the majority speaking; so that those who are too weak to stand for what they believe will take refuge in the illusion of the majority.

   I'll never forget when I started listening to Rush on the radio.    We were on a shoestring budget, I was often behind someone in line that was buying all the things I couldn't...then paying with food stamps. Couldn't believe it, each and every time and it was never milk and bread for the kids. That, I would have been fine with! All at the same time experiencing slackers at work that weren't producing, but were very good at making demands on others. The Nightly News was biased.....
   I was complaining to my hubby, "Whatever happened to self-reliance and saving now to play later" and so on.
   We were both raised to think this way!
   He said "you've got to listen to this guy on the radio, Rush Limbaugh, he thinks like we think".
   Gosh, I don't know how many years ago that was! Now when people say, (and, oh boy, they do) you're just repeating what you hear". I say, "no, they are repeating me".

      Yesterday   had Sean Hannity on saying his advertizing  IS being targeted by the left  , putting his show and voice in jeopardy  ,    A new  program called " Media Equalization" has decided to fight fire WITH fire  and start listing the companies for conservatives to start contacting  actually  "returning fire "  to the alt-left's war against media  truth itself.     Have you ever listened to this station , they have some of the most  brilliant speakers and hosts I've ever heard ," Rush L." like but perhaps not quite as biased .
      
      David Webb
      Andrew Wilkow
      Sean Hannity
      many others .........including from the UK. and beyond. The left is playing dirty and has been since  forever  !  It's time to return the favor ! They want dirt ,  give them dirt .

Just because the middle doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they are just repeating what they've heard. You guys are the ones who've been spoon fed intolerance. On both far ends.

         Did you even read my post? Is it intolerant to believe in self-reliance and in a saving-now-to-play-later philosophy? That is just a small part of my belief system, I'm also very involved in projects that seek out those in need and assist, our church prepares summer breakfast/lunch packages for kids on summer break that do not have their free or reduced school meals.
         I apologize if you were a regular listener of Rush and became turned off by him. Over the years I've had so many people bash him, that have never taken the time to listen. Shouldn't have assumed that about you LTL.

            AB, I think that Rush sucks, he gets paid so much by convincing the unlettered and unwashed to actually believed that their interests are the same as that of the corporate class.
            
            I do see the buy now/pay later syndrome as a problem and it is not limited to just the poor on food stamps. The middle class is mesmerized by it and it takes prudence and discipline to learn to live within your means. The credit card crisis is just such a point.
