Last week another ignorant judicial nominee went before a congressional committee and was so ignorant of the law he was drilled by a republican over his experience. He'd never tried a case either in state or federal court. He's never argued a case before either court, never taken a deposition, didn't know the answers to case laws a first year law student should know. He's not alone in his ignorance as several other Trump nominees failed for some of the same reasons.

There are many judicial seats to be filled since Obama was prevented from filling them due to Mitch McConnell's blocking, not only Obama's nominee for SCOTUS, but the filling of the same judicial seats Trump is trying to fill with friends of his cronies. The afore mentioned nominee is just such an example.

These are lifetime appointments with the republican senator purposely showing the ignorance of Trump's nominees. Anyone like to make an excuse as to why such stupidity should be allowed in these important positions?

You are right on this one Randy. The idiot that approved the vetting of the nominee list for Pres. Trump should be fired.

Elect a clown, expect a circus. What do you expect from an orange moron? GOP senators don't have the balls to think for themselves and vote against these assh*les.

So the idiot won't make the bench !    What ?, are liberals now getting their Trump Obstruct messages from barking city dogs in the distance ?    At least he's nominating
people who WILL inject some sense of reason to federal courts so we don't have to rely on some weirdo judge with a mission to empty all the jails of violent felons because he doesn't like the pick walls at the prison.

I swear Obama was electing judges to just let his college friends out of jail.

ahorseback, even the Republican that questioned the guy didn't call him an idiot, he just called him unqualified for the position. Apparently his sense of qualification for a judgeship included more than just being a Republican conservative.

It was reported that Kennedy, a republican, intentionally made the guy look bad by asking easy questions the nominee had no idea about but any law student would know. Why, because he was weary of having ignorant and inexperienced nominees proposed by Trump for lifetime positions. He was trying to send Trump a message, but we all know how the Donald is. He doesn't like the word no from anyone.

That's an interesting thought Randy. Does it presume that Kennedy had checked the guys background more thoroughly than other committee members?

I don't know about that, GA. I do know he was given the questions to ask the nominee and the nominee had months to bone up on the questions he should've already known for the job. Even more dumb that he didn't.

As unusual as it appears to be that the nominee seemed so unprepared, and unqualified, I am not sure it matters how it came about. I am just glad that it did. Biased and ideological judges are problem enough, I certainly don't want one that is also too professionally inexperienced to merit the position.

We sure don't want the Obama  judge  friend fiasco happening , one freak judge from Hawaii holding up a new administrations immigration policy purely for  ideological purpose and why ,   because he can ?

The left is disqualifying a Trump candidate even by his being INTERVIEWED  ! Let's   give the system some credit --is my point , that's why they are thus vetted  isn't it ?   Childish and petty for those here who neither now the law , the process of nomination or the ideological intent of the questions BUT simply object out of Trumpfit !

Except you didn't read anything that was just written.  The person who exposed this unqualified candidate was a Republican.  You're so blinded by your hatred of liberals you cannot even discern when both sides agree that Trump has put up some very unsatisfactory candidates for the court.  And it's 'know,' so while trying to claim that someone doesn't know something, it's probably best to understand how to spell the word know.  Otherwise, you just sound uneducated.

So now we're the spelling police , I've always noticed that comes only from the left . The ignorance is in the obstruction of Trump's  incredible progress in all fields of governing ,the courts ,the economy ,  wall street  ,  the jobs markets , the haters are NOW  trying to convince us all that this  hate is from both sides ,because ?

Neither their obstruction , nor yours is working , Oh, I'm not"..... blinded by my hatred of liberals ....."!  Simply surprised by the sophomoric objections to things people don't know anything about .

      I guess that's why no one HERE'S a federal judge .

Do you now understand why Trump was elected, Val? Facts and logic is out of the realm of some Trump fans. It's hopeless to even address this type.

Trump was elected more by a diverse group of ideologically central  voters than your precious and politically correct socialist wannabe  .   Yet you on the extremes of ideology try to convince anyone that listens that somehow we all made a huge mistake AND that we know it and we're hiding it somehow , that it's just a screw up of gigantic proportions ,  all the while throwing  all the shyte against the wall that you can grasp
trying hard ......, extremely hard to get ANYTHING to stick.

While you come up with Nothing even your partisan Mueller investigation flounders on your dung slippery floor  while you seek numerous other hand-fulls to throw ?

But the bottom feeding ,forum dweller will never cease .

Why's your critique down here _______and Trump's progress is up there````````````````?

Call it constructive criticism.  If you're going to claim to be the smartest guy in the room, try being able to spell words with more than three letters to back up your claim.  And that comes from the left because it seems that some on the right, including the guy you elected, cannot grasp educational basics like spelling or the difference between their, there and they're.

Wow ,so  you're an elitist intellectual giant ,sitting on your backside in a useless forum thread  condemning a president for being a what "moron , clown , idiot " ? ,and you think he's really listening to your leftist sophomoric condemnations and criticisms with unbridled  attention ?
You do realize that Trumps laughs at all your sniveling rants and minor irritation's?
      Right ?
