I believe we are going the way of the roman empire, with strong leadership with someone that has vision it could change. But not the way it is going now

We are headed for further disaster, our congress has just been eviscerated by the regime in the white house, changing this land of ours into socialist country. With the coalition of Copenhagen and signing over our American rights we have now become a part of a united Nations, the beginning of a one world order, that is where our great leader Obama is taking us so where does Congress fit into this, are they going to allow this? We the constituents don't want this, Is our Congress and Supreme Court become cowards? It is time to impeach Obama for his lies and deception.

Given that, historically, higher taxes, more government, more debt, more dependence on foreign money, and more socialistic laws have led to a worsened economy, worsened jobs situation, more people depending on the government for their livelihood, and less people thinking for themselves...

I'd say this country is headed for a major downfall.

When the Republicans take back the government in 2010, will they turn it around or will they bask yet again in their power and make things worse?

We need Independent candidates and independent thinkers.

Yeah, I would say things don't look good right now. The government seems ineffective and focused on the wrong things and even making problems worse. Who knows what the future will hold?

The answer to your question does not come from Washington DC it comes from "we the people".  Until we start thinking for ourselves and voting for ourselves we remain at the mercy of the of the two parties.  We re-elect over 90% of the Congress and Senate and expect things to change.  The Republicans do not have the answers.  The Demenocrats do not have the answers.  You do!  Put some new people in office and things will change.  If it doesn't, than vote them out.  The change we need is our elected officials need to serve us.

Once Cesar was ask why he allows those fat senators around him. He answered: "If I kick them out, then the new ones will start to enrich themselves. The fat ones are already rich so I let them here."

patrick henry said, give me liberty or give me death. with all thats going on we seem to be asking for death. rise up freedom lovers, kick out the bad and put in the new, then hold them to their appointed task.
make them comply with the laws, taxes and retirement they hold to us. make them repeal the fat retirement they get after 6 years. they must pay into and then get social security after age 65. if they don't work after being in office, then they don't get anything in return.
i only want special retirement packages for our brave men and women in the armed forces. if they serve 20-30 years, let them live well, for they make sure we can live free.

It is not ethical to blame the Nation for the current state of dismay of economic crisis. Who knows- the 9/11 will come for US? Who knows – US a lover of democracy would be engaged in two Wars? But US is built up by the most of the intelligent people of the Earth- the vision of whose can not be finished in dust- it will come out with new vigor. Only time will tell the truth of course everything depends upon the right choice of government for Nation’s work.

This country is going straight to hell.

This country has enslaved and denigrated the black man in the name of a white Jesus and is being judged for their evil

This country was founded by committing genocide on the indigenous population in the name of a white Jesus and is going to hell.

This country keeps saying it is a Christian nation and keeps doing things in Gods name that are evil.  This country is headed to hell.

    Jesus ain't happy about it.

    I'm leaving.
