If it is true that America has died, should we then bury its' icons?
It is being said that America has died under the onslaught of socialism that is overtaking Washington. If this is true should be bury the icons that represent this great nation and how would we do that?
When someone or something is in precarious health burying it will, of course, kill it. What needs to be done is it needs to be nurtured back to health, and if someone who will make things worse shows up at the door they need to be sent away.
The principles on which the nation was founded aren't dead because principles are immortal. The problem is those principles and the nation are one thing. The less-than-capable people who have been entrusted with, but have abandoned both, are another.
