Obama's Presidency: Are you better off now that you were a year ago?
You've GOT to be kidding! After some 40 years of working, now laid off for the last 9 months. Savings nearly gone - retirement soon to follow. No, I'm not better off.
NO, and neither is anyone that I know.
If that guy in office doesn't wise up, we are all going to be worse off.
No, in fact, I am deeply concerned about the future with which we are saddling our future generations. What happened to personal responsibility? How can so much debt and interest ever be repaid? Will my children have a lower and less free standard of living? Honestly, it seems that the America in which I have always resided is slowly being killed, a piece at a time.
Believe it or not, I am much better off now than I was this time last year. I know some people who are doing worse and some who are doing better.
