    No! Decisions has to be made by our leaders whether socialist, communism, or democracy for a common need of the people. Regardless of the form of government, all people need food, shelter, and medical treatment alone with many more common needs. As a results, it is not unusual that methods to efficiently meet those needs in the natural world in which we all share are  commonly the same.

    All decisions by a government to help the people are socialistic moves; what distinguishes our democracy from other forms of governments is that the people is the government, and expresses this though pre-scheduled elections and constant inputs to our elected officials.

    I wish his policies were more socialist and that he had more power to implement them. Kind of contradicting, shuyeah.

    I don't think Obama is a socialist. I agree with Wilmier in that aspect. I heard someone say before that you have to have some socialism to make capitalism work and you have to have some capitalism to make socialism work and you have to have both to make a democracy work...
