Probably because no logical sane person actually believes anything promised during an Election campaign.

Like Gramma said, beware of Piecrust promises... easily made Easily broken....

Because people don't know history, can't remember from one minute to the other, and are caught up in Santa Claus

Because people, in general, are gullible if not stupid. They are also generally uneducated/undereducated when it comes to global history let alone their OWN country's! Why do people still believe that Lincoln was a great purveyor of slave rights? He wasn't! He didn't care about the slaves, he just wanted WAR! Freeing the slaves was the political flavor of the day so he went with it. Why did so many people vote for Obama? Because McCain shot himself in the foot by being the LEAST charismatic candidate since Bob Dole. Any other time in the past, McCain was engaging and passionate, until on campaign he just flopped! Plus Obama had all the right media hook-ups! Our unemployment rate is up. National Debt is up. Our country is going to hell in a handcart and yet people still believe in him and why? Let me know if you have an answer to that question!
