If you feel that you were sent into a war under false pretences then no but perhaps make your protest known.

Whatever you decide as long as your comfortable wth your reasons you'll be honest with yourself.

Everyone should vote so you get your say in our govt. the reason some elections don't go your way is cause people decide "someone else will do it" but in reality very few Americans vote, which means the ones who do get more say and of those who vote are mostly older individuals not the citizens heading to the future, this needs to change.

Veteran of what, and what relevance is that as to whether you should vote or not?

    Good Day WoodsmensPost

The question itself is interesting. I take it you are a veteran of one of the branches of the armed services, yes? And you would like opinions about whether or not you should vote. Do I have that right?

At the risk of being obnoxiously psychoanalytic, I should say that the very fact you ask the question is revealing, in that it suggests that you feel a disconnect from the ordinary (American? You are American?) political process by virtue of being a veteran of the armed services.

In other words, you seem to be suggesting that being a veteran has made voting more optional than it perhaps otherwise would have been, had you never joined the armed forces. Its almost like you're a judge wondering if you should recuse yourself from hearing a particular case, because of a conflict of interest.

Is that it, WoodsmensPost? Do you somehow feel a "conflict of interest" with respect to the political process due to being a veteran?
