Is America the country of EQUALITY or RACISM!?
IS AMERICA THE COUNTRY WHO GAVE THE BIG START TO...
RACISM OR THE COUNTRY WHO TACKLES THAT ISSUE WHIT STRONG VALUES THAT EVERYONE IS EQUAL????
It has been a stumble over the past few decades for someone brave to face the truth that America is the country of idealism and perfection as well as the first country ever to exploited the classifications of humans and their race.
What do you mean "first country ever"? Racism, slavery, etc. has been around since the Book of Genesis in The Bible.
And we're not the only country - at least we don't try to do genocide: not openly anyways. I believe more countries are racist than are not racist.
You can't just look back 100 years or so. As long as humans have greed, hate, lust, etc. there will be racism, prejudice, and all those other ideas where people think they are better than someone else based on color of skin, nationality, gender, sexual preferences, etc.
And how can we be so racist if we recently elected a black president?
A country of Equality? No way at all. Are many Americans racist? Absolutely! But we are surely not in any exclusive club by that benchmark.
It's humans in general that are racist and not any one country in particular.
I am sorry to burst your bubble sir or madam, but clearly you have not spent much time looking into ancient Greece, Roman or Asian history. Are you aware of the phrase “untouchables?” That little divisive gem comes from India and its caste system. To preface a question that America gave racism its big start is wholly unprepared to deal with historical fact.
You are wrong! If you believe that America was the first racist country, you have no knowledge of history. Racism goes all the way back to the beginning. And slavery was practiced by many races throughout history, including blacks in Africa.
The first slave owner in America was a black man. That is a fact of history. He started the slavery trade by taking a case to court and winning possession of another black man. When America was founded, racism didn't exist. It was started by greedy plantation owners wanting to keep the little man down. Racism was a good way to do that.
Unfortunately, there are many whites and blacks in America who keep racism alive. Yes, I said blacks. People on all sides use it as an issue to promote their own agendas. Remember the LA riots? Do you know how many asians were attacked by the blacks? That riot may have been started because of bad cops beating a man, but it turned into a race war between blacks and asians. Why? Because like it or not, all people have racism in their blood, and only God can cleanse us of it.

the past or has racism is worse now than it has been in 3 decades? There are those who strongly assert that we Americans live in a postracial, post Black society where racial boundaries are increasingly disappearing and there are unparalleled opportunities for Blacks in untold numbers. ...

If the various race anti-discrimination laws were to go how much racism do you think would prevail in America? Is America's tolerance, acceptance and even embrace of diversity a superficial and shallow thing that must be legislated to maintain? Ron Paul is for getting rid of these laws and it is...

Why is saying #AllLivesMatter considered racist?I see this everywhere: on Twitter, on forums, and on the news. I am asking this out of pure curiosity and confusion, because I don't see anything racist about the statement/hashtag.

There are those who believe a white man winning a Super Bowl during Black History Month is absolutely racist. So, what is to be done since Tom Brady, a white man, actually won a super bowl during Black history month. How do we end such blatant racism? No white quarterbacks can play in...
