Fairly easily if any Government had the guts to do it.
Instead of spending shedloads of our money on useless, over staffed and inefficient Public services and constantly raising taxes to pay for it.
Slash taxes and give people the incentive to do these things for themselves. Make owning and running a business something worthwhile and so create jobs without punitive income taxation.
In the UK better than half the working population works for the Government one way or another, These are all non productive jobs and are therefore a drain upon the ecconomy
This also means that the balance of the working population have to pay for and support the non productive section out of their taxes.
We need less Government and more private enterprise, if they do less we have to do more and we will and create jobs doing it.
Don't believe me ? Take a look at Hong Kong, take a look at their ecconomy. A Long time ago a descion was made by the local Government to be as unintrusive as possible and they reduced taxesright across the board.
We could all learn a lesson from their experience but I'll bet you anything you want our Governments won't listen.

If you have read Animal Farm none of what we currently face is news. However, the point of the ever growing welfare state is to put more people into a government preserve and using their political support to enslave those unlucky enough to be working."We're living in an economy where...
