is capitalism really a good idea?
can a country sustain itself when the rich are given all the breaks and laws are made that endorse this.
Yes, Capitalism is a good idea.
Capitalism is not the only form of government that supports the rich & powerful more than the average man.
For example, Soviet Russia had a wealthy class just like we do.
The difference was that there the primary way to get rich was through politics, not business.
I don't know about you, but I would rather my success be bound to my own choices, not everyone else's!
i agree somewhat with you Donald E but my problem is that capitalism was suppose to make people more free and it hasn't. we want to believe were free but look at who has the power in north america and what they do with it. like russia , the wealthy rule so what's the difference. there are better ways for a country to run.
The truth is that there is no "Perfect" system of government! Capitalism is not perfect, and neither is Socialism, or Communism. No matter what system we live under their is going to be people that will benefit from that particular system!
