Your question should have included - 'Why is the war we are fighting for oil in Iraq and Afghanistan about to go global?

(Before anyone tells me that there is no oil in Afghanistan - I know. There is, however, oil and natural gas below the Caspian sea which American companies (Unacol primarily - google them) want to bring out via a pipeline that will be routed through Afghanistan.)

To continue - the USA is hell bent on attacking Iran, it is also conducting provocative military manoeuvres - along with Japan and S Korea - off the N Korean coast and now it wants to install an anti-ballistic missile system along Poland's border with Russia. This system will give America a first srike capability as it will enable the US to launch missiles against Russia and then shoot down any missiles launched by the Russians in retaliation. There is no way that Russia is NOT going to respond to the presence of this system on its border.

The Poles will have no say in how this system is deployed or used.

All of this warmongering activity is being undertaken because -for a small elite of very rich people - wars can be extremely profitable.

If you want proof of this assertion watch an American made documentary film called,'The War for Cheese'. Seriously - its an eye opener.

To answer the second part of your question - yes - some of us are paying attention.

A war on "terror" has no particular enemy .It seems the enemy is almost everywhere according to those who claim that our liberties must be superceeded by the T.S.A. and other "Homeland" Insecurity agencies.
