If terrorists are the human beings then what is the secret to win the heart of Terrorist?
First you have to define the word terrorist.
When the Russians deployed troops to Afghanistan the Americans portrayed the Afghans that fought against them as, 'Freedom fighters.' They even sent Rambo over to aid the Afghans in their struggle against the, 'Evil Empire.'
Now that the Americans have deployed troops to Afghanistan (to secure passage for oil and gas pipelines from the Caspian Sea) the Afghan fighters have become terrorists.
Believe it or not -Terrorists have hearts. They usually feel they have justification due to an action of a state or government against his/her people/family/children/religion. They would claim they have been heartbroken and so pursue terrorism to inflict pain on their "enemy".
Remember the US pain of 911 and the whoops of delight when USA invaded Afghanistan? Wasn't that "revenge"?
Afghans would say it was terrorism....
I would have thought that if you don't impose foreign policy on the "terrorist" states, you publicly acknowledge the terrorists claims, and then propose a "truce" and show good faith by a meaningful action.....perhaps you can get to some hearts. The hard liners will never change but they will at least back off when they see truth and honesty being praticed. Then they see HOPE. Terrorism is a product of people seeing NO HOPE.
In Northern Ireland, we understand the feelings of no hope and hope. We speak from experience.
When the military forces left here, we reacted accordingly. Terrorism slowly faded away.....
Depends on who you're talking about, but money or power might work.
Get involved with the lives of young men who are rudderless and help guide them through that part of their lives when they are most vulnerable to smooth-talking radical imams.
Show them that a wife and children and a fulfilling job along with adherence to the peaceful aspects of their religion is the true way to happiness.
