Can you describe the difference between a "hobo" and a "homeless person"?
Is there a difference? Just a newer term? It seems we didn't really know hobos, and maybe they even chose their lifestyle. But homeless people are more real, more like you and me. They are having a hard time in their lives. I picture a hobo riding the trains. A homeless person is on your corner, part of your community. (Or perhaps I am a bit naive.)
A hobo is a person who enjoys living off the streets by working for money and sleeping wherever they can find a place.
A homeless person is a person who is living on the streets or in shelters and even in a friend's or relative's home. A homeless person is on street due to finances or home elements. It's not voluntarily.
a hobo tends to travel from place to place regularily whereas a homeless person tends to stay in one place for long periods of time.
there is no difference. both are homeless, hobo is just a more modern term to use
A homeless person may still have money. Hobos do not. A homeless person may have their house torn down by a natural disaster, or maybe they are moving. Hobos might be homeless longer than homeless people, so maybe thats why they have two diffrent names. I DONT KNOW!

My unbiased description is this: liberals turn to government to solve their problems. Conservatives turn to business to solve their problems.
