Do you believe global warming is happening and that we are the reason?

Yes, but more importantly, the consensus of the scientific community says it is so.

Of course we are the reason.

In the year 1810 the world population reached 1 billion.
By 2012                               it will pass 7 billion

Given,  that over the same two hundred year period the World has seen the explosion of the Industrial revolution and the burning of fossil fuels it's not hard to do the math.

True there is quite a loud vocal group out there who are screaming denial,  but  I think that is only because  to deny it is happening means they don't actually have to do anything or make any personal sacrifice...!

Global warming and Global warning are similar in that the "M" in warming could represent MAN and the "N" in warning could represent NATURE.

Yes, and it really is shame since we have such a unique beautiful planet.

I also agree with junkseller we have a majority of scientists who have come to a consensus I think the only thing I ever here any question is the time we have to change any really negative impacts.

Unfortunately I am afraid it is not much time. This morning they were talking about the warm temperatures in the ocean and how little if any ice there will be in the north pole this summer, an anomaly.

It's depressing news as the US GOP puts a stomp on any energy progress we have made.

if u think of all the hundreds of millions of cars spewing gases out of their exhaust pipes in a 24 hour period all around the world and it never stops , each year more people leave school and add to the numbers, babies been born at an alarming rate, planes flying in the sky every day burning tonnes of fuel ,it also never stops, coal burning power stations also never stop releasing gases and u say that its a natural cycle in the climate that we seeing then u are an idiot and our children and their children are in for hell on earth . i think we are passed the point of no return due to greed . we cant stop the systems in place in the world so we just blunder on and try pretend its natural and it will go away by its self. i am amazed this question is even asked.drastic measured are needed now and we too busy fighting wars with each other .we cant agree on anything .dream on .

Certainly yes, also there will be a time when MAN will have killed and  abused from all the natural resources in the world, thinking still that they could find living in another planet as a chance for survival, that's just fiction.

God knows all things and God bless us all!
