Brazil as a permanent member of UN Security Council?

As a rising world power, Brazil has aspirations to be a permanent member of the UN Security Council. Do you think it should be? Would you support the expansion even more? To 8-10 permanent members, for instance. Potential additions would be Germany, India, Brazil, Canada, Australia, etc.

The U.N needs to be abolished. One world government is not the solution, but it is a way for government to have more power over people.

If the UN is to have any relevance, then it should reflect the changes that have happened over the past few decades. If you add a few new members - India, Brazil, Germany - to the Security Council, then you might have to remove the ability of single country to veto decisions. In the end, however, the UN is only as powerful as the major players want it to be. Concerns about a one world government are way overblown.
