Should any and all "sacred cows" of our Representatives and Senators be spared in deficit reduction?
In your opinion, are the proposed budget cuts, as proposed by the House, draconian as Harry Reid contends? Should there be an "sacred cows" and if so, what flavor milk? Please be specific.
Simply said, No. All things must be reviewed, reduced and eliminated if at all possible.
All expenses should be reviewed and they need to have their salaries reduced as a show of good conscience and willingness to sacrifice during these hard times.

No. They are a waste of our tax dollars for example since the Department of Education was established, has there been any improvement in children's education? Since the Department of Energy was etsablished, has there been less dependence on foreign oil? These departments have made things worst: we depend on foreign oil more than ever, and we are ranked near the bottom in the world in education.
