Do you think that with the natural disasters and wars today that it is a sign of end times?
No not really ! its just with all the up to the minute live coverage on satellite news channels we have & state of the art technology sometimes it feels the planet is going mad all at once where just 30 years ago it could take hours, days or weeks to find out what was happening at the other side of the world & along with the old adage 'bad news sells' it seems everything bad is happening at once....& sometimes is.
Yes. The end of the system of things, but not an end of life on earth.
what do you mean by "end times?" Do you mean
the biblical prophecy of the end of earth?
BY no means. WE have at least 3 BILLION years left.
Wars come about because of jealous, childish people who
become adults and who belong to radical religions or political views..
No I do not think so. Natural disasters and wars have been going on since the beginning of time, some better than others some worse but none have actually made the world end. If you mean the biblical end times I would still say no because things will have to be alot worse than it is now for the end of the world to come about.
No you are wrong my sister. Read the Matthews 24:7 and verse 8. Note verse 8: "All these things are the beginning of sorrows." "Beginning of sorrows" means a women in labor. Research the birth pain a women experience in labor.Go to verse 32-33.
No, there was actually more war and natural disasters in the past, we just didn't have up the minute globalized media that was able to broadcast the skeletons of every friggin country/territory around the world.
No, I don't. If you look closely at history, you will see these kinds of disasters have always been present--and at times seem to come in clusters. Christ tells us we will not know the day or time.
As DonDWest says--the kind of media coverage is fairly new phenomenon...news 24/7 so they cover everything all the time and it gets old.
when hasn't there been natural disasters and wars? if these things were signs, i'm thinking we would have ended centuries ago.
Yes, I believe that the end of times is near. If you are a religious person and read the Bible, many of us will agree that the book of Revelation predicts many of these things. There is so much evil going on in our country right now, that it makes perfect sense that the end of time is near. Glad to be a believer in Christ and be saved!
There are actually less wars than before and natural disasters have always happen they come and go, and there have been worse disasters in the past too.
The end of times being the end of what humanity is used to today. The opportunity of being a free and independent individual without government control.
Some say there have been more wars and natural disasters in the past, but with technology increasing, the devastation in today's wars could be a LOT worse. Also, I'm not too convinced that all the disasters today are natural. Some may be man made experiments gone array. Underwater earthquakes have indeed increased 88% and land earthquakes by 62%.
Because of our wars, our obsession with economic development and wealth, 1/3 of most species have reached the edge of extinction. Half of our forests globally have been demolished, the ideas of a new world order and population control are circulating.
It is said in the Bible that when the two witnesses are to die, the whole world will be able to see it. It has only been possible with our technology today within the last maybe 50 years that this could be feasible. I do believe most media coverage is sensationalized, but it is still frightening to see what humanity is doing to our planet.
Yes I believe it is. In the book matthews specifically Matthew specifically verse 24 the disciples ask Jesus what will be the sign of the his coming and the end of the world. Fast track to verse 7 it reads: "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places. Verse 8 reads: "All these are the beginnings of sorrows." Now in Greek the term "beginnings of sorrows" is referred to a woman giving birth. Now, when a woman is in labor she experiences birth pain. As she comes closer to the delivery of the child the pain gets worse and worse, and happens more rapidly and frequently. So when you put this into context with the signs of the time, or specifically natural disasters: Jesus is saying that these natural disasters, pestilences, famines, will occur more frequently and rapidly as we are about to approach the end of the world. Now fast track to verse 32-34: "Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: so likewise ye,when ye shall see these things, know that it is near, even at the doors!" WAKE UP WORLD! We are living in the last days and drawing nigh to the end of the world which God has appointed since sin entered the earth! Never in earth history has there ever been so much earthquake and calamities occuring BACK TO BACK and in DIVERS places. There has been earthquakes in the past, tsunamis in the past, famines and pestilences in the past, but never has ALL these things has occured in a specific generation as this so rapidly and frequently! Revelation 12; 12: " Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." Stop trying to fight and wrestle these things with science and logics, this is clearly a fulfilment of the prophecy of the bible! Let go of your pride and give your hearts to JESUS! He is the only one that can save us from this world of sin. We are bought with a high price...THE BLOOD OF JESUS! Deny this world and the things of this world and give your soul to JESUS! Do you know how bad Jesus wants us in heaven with him! I'm 18 years old and 3 years ago I gave my life to Christ because I knew that something BIG is going to happen and I can't make it in this world without Jesus! He loves us and is willing to change us into his image if we would only deny this world. God bless
