What to do if or when the government shuts down ?
What's going to happen this is my first time?
I am sure the soldiers who are not going to be paid until it starts up again will be really celebrating.
Government needs to strap on their big girl panties and get to work on actual problems instead of taking a vacation.
nothing really. go on doing what you always do. this question just proves how much some people depend on the government to survive which is one of the reasons the government gets away with all the things it does.
So if it shuts down, does that mean that all the corrupt politicians will not receive pay during this period?
If the government decides to remove money or simply shuts down or something - it will be beneficial to society as a whole AND our planet Earth.
In such a case, here's what to do:
Buy orgranic seeds - plant fruit and veg
Buy chickens, cattle and whatever else meat you want to eat
Buy gold - it will be beneficial when money comes around.
If a government shuts down, we will be going back to simple living. : )
For the record, I wish for this to happen.

I still don't get how the government can just "shut down". What are our politicians doing over there?
