Anytime you forcibly take earned income away from someone and give it to someone else, you are breaking the social contract.
Well, the poor are already in the gutter, used to the smell of garbage ... the corporate moguls on the other hand need their caviar, Don Perignon, Armani suits, jets ... can't leave 'em on the dry-low; they really need that corporate welfare. We just have to understand that once in a while (or whenever needed), we gotta bleed for them or they'll threaten us with the end of the world.
