Why do Americans allow the PRIVATE Federal Reserve dictate the collapse of the US economy?
With Ben Bernanke expected on Wednesday to confirm quantitative easing and flood the market with dollars while Japan and others are looking to dump the dollar isn't it time Americans started to react. Forget Dancing with the Stars, your country is heading for the worst recession in its history!
Your last sentence answered your question. Americans are made docile as long as they are entertained. TV is like the Roman Coliseum. There are several reasons why the Fed is printing so much money. The politicians are trying to stimulate short-term growth so that voters are happy. The second reason is to pay off their debtors quickly. Long story short, we got off easy in '08 and are now only delaying the inevitable. The next recession will be like a supernova that creates something new in its wake. What new government that will be, I don't know. Americans seem to be moving less in the direction of freedom and more in the direction of wanting someone incorruptible to provide services and strict security in times of emergency. If they are not careful, that is what they will get after an economic collapse.
