Are you happy with the outcome of the Canadian election?
ignatieff got what he deserved in my opinion along with the BQ. Layton made history and though I didn't vote for him, i'm proud of what he accomplished.
I'm not too happy over the outcome, the next four years are going to be particularly tough for me at a personal level. Harper's policies don't exactly match well with my domestic life and a business idea of mine will most likely have to be put on hold until a change in government.
In this election, everyone seemed to get what they deserved. The conservatives got a majority after showing a steady hand on the economy during a bad recession. Good for you Stephen.
The NDP became the Official Opposition after running a positive campaign that offered an alternative to the status quo. Good for you Jack.
The Liberals downfall has been a long time coming and it is now time to rebuild with fresh faces and new ideas. Good for you Michael for stepping down with grace and showing a lot of class.
As for the Bloc and Gilles Duceppe, I can't say I'm sorry to see you go. You should never have been collecting wages from Canadian taxpayers so you could work toward destroying Canada.
Good for the Green Party and Elizabeth May. It's about time! You are needed in Parliament to represent the environment. No longer will politicians ask 'WHAT IS THE LEAST WE CAN GET AWAY WITH DOING" when it comes to protecting our environment.
I think Canada got the very best results possible!!!
