Smaller, everything else being equal, America would be smaller because one of the outcomes was the establishment of borders with the French giving up some territory in the process. The other impact would probably be a more Catholic America, assuming America was ever born as the fight between Catholics on the one side and Protestants/Church of England on the other was one of the reasons England colonized the Americas.
That is a tough question. Well, there would certainly be more French colonial architecture everywhere. There probably would have been no American Revolution or a French Revolution. This means there would never have been a Napoleonic empire. All-out war between France and Spain would have been inevitable. Everything about the world would be different today. The British colonies would not have extended west of the Appalachian Mountains and the new world would probably have never developed its own cultural identity.
