If you are helping some on get an education ... Will you want to meet them ?
If you are the one funding someone's education through a foundation or organization. Would you rather remain anonymous and just get regular update about their progress? Or would you want to meet and interact with them? and Why ?
I think giving anonymously is always best. I went to Kenya a few years ago and found that when I gave things to people, I was looked on as a "savior." It's not about the giving of the gift or who it's from, but rather, what it means to the recipient (which in your case is getting an education).
