Does anyone know how to "market" a non-profit organization/make it known?
I want to help ppl through charity things, but I have no idea where to start. I know that once I get it up and running/an idea of what I actually want to do, I will use Twitter. Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/lessons for me?
I would start with a good website and business cards. If you like to write, I would start posting a bi-weekly blog and take pictures of you actively being involved in the charity work. Become "The Expert" in your field. Write the best articles that lets people know that YOU are "THE Expert".
To expand your base, cast a W-I-D-E Net-- and create a page on Facebook that drives leads to your website. Use tweeter also.

Has anyone tried Alexa? For researching which websites are doing well, what percentage of site's traffic is organic? Which keywords are getting that traffic?
