Did you know that because of the 1929 Stock Market Crash many wealthy American investors sought to bet their monies (well, their monies is such a figure of speech, oftentimes it was YOUR money) in the Nazi cause? Yes, many investors saw in Hitler anti-Semitic a new era of investment opportunity since Capitalism seemed to be going nowhere. read more

In a nutshell, stop trying to be a world military empire.  It is costly and eventually leads to economic ruin.  On the economy, I would change trade agreements and get tough with China.  The U.S.'s job problems really started in 2000 when China joined the WTO and U.S. manufacturers went to China by the 1,000s.

Hmmm, that is a tough question.  All countries have problems and I'm no political or economic expert, but it'd have to be a team effort, it'd be nice to see someone elected president from a party other than the republican or democratic parties; and why can't we keep our military out of other countries?  Stop messing with other countries problems, and become more self reliant.  And it'd be great if we could find an environmentally safe way to extract oil from Alaska, or keep working towards alternative fuel.  And with the sluggish economy, I wish the government would issue each person a stimulus check (like Bush did, but way bigger, like $10000).  Enough that we could pay off debts and then start spending on projects, like home remodels, plumbing, landscape projects, pools, or maybe going on vacations, cruises, flying, train trips or maybe buying equipment for your small business, like new software, printers, advertising.   Or maybe, you just want to buy some new clothes, shoes, school supplies, or take a class, sign your kids up for sports, or donate to charities.  That way, at least the money would go directly to the tax payers, and be saved or spent, thus flowing back into the economy.  Just give me the money!

I tried to answer your question earlier and when I was finished Hub Pages told me the answer was to long and asked if I would like to publish a hub, so I did.

Here is the link to your answer http://somethgblue.hubpages.com/hub/Fix … allyHappen

First, get rid of the 2 party system - then set about to thoroughly follow the genius of our Constitution and properly practice the free market course . . . we have the foundation of the best self-governing ideas men have yet come-up with - we just overly manipulate things into a nonfunctional disaster.

The biggest problem here in my opinion, that 80% of the Americans have 5 or more credits cards and they cannot pay that huge debt back ...why are so many credit card commercial on TV? I would ban them !!!!

Some say that the imagination unlocks the key to the universe,I tend to agree. Using your imagination, everything would work better if someone could assemble the masses and get them all working in the same direction. Imagine, medical care for every citizen, no hungry mouths to feed, freedom of love and no crime, putting the ideas of children to work in order to save the corporate entities.Imagine, a society that works together to solve problems, not create them and put the money making on the backburner.Remember the love you take is equal to the love you make, and a society based on the love of perhaps a child, can be the greatest thing.
