If Mahatma Gandhi was born in Hitler's Germany, do you think he would have been a Mahatma?

This is impossible to answer.  Each soul chooses to incarnate at a point where he/she will experience what it is that they are to experience this lifetime.

Mahatma Gandhi was born Mahatma Gandhi, because he was supposed to carry out the mission that he did.  Hitler chose his life path, based on the fact that he was Hitler.

    -----------

Hypothetically, if Mahatma were in Germany when WWII was taking place, he would have probably either left the country, or would have been taken to a concentration camp.  I don't see his character lifting a gun to fight for Germany.  His character would have either chosen to leave before the War started to break out, or would have been a pacifist... and would have been taken to a concentration camp.

Yes, certainly. He became a Mahatma only under the dominant British rule in India. So under the similar circumstances in Germany I think he could have succeeded too.
