My experience is that you are correct, in many ways there are places that could actually be different countries, I'm originally from uruguay and most uruguayan immigrants are in nj/ny I don't think i could relocate to any other state,Iguess there's a reason we feel at home in these states.

People are people , wherever I go...................

I have done far more than my share of " going"................

Travelers, such as myself, will find what they seek........

hospitality, recreation, protectiveness, food, shelter, turmoil, unrest, or relaxation, fear, mistrust........

There is opportunity to learn from others, or to ridicule them............

you WILL find what you seek...........you will be drawn to it.

Where ever you might go......you will find YOURSELF there.

I've traveled in many states and have lived in several parts of the U.S. and am always amazed at how going from one region to another can be like entering another country.  Although some version of English is spoken everywhere, there are huge differences is culture and traditions.  Definitely NOT one-size-fits-all!
