If you had it in your power to change the world, the money, & the resources, what would change?

Please explain in great detail at what lengths would you do to help humanity change as a whole, and for the better of course.

The hearts of men...  it would be wonderful if the hearts of all men could all be Touched by Love.  What a transformation that would cause!

If I had it in my power to make a change in the world by changing something it is a no brainer, I would change people! It all starts with people and how they treat each other, the environment and all its resources. If all people were moral, humane and just. There would be no racism, social separation, classism, no crime, no abortion, no need for welfare or social security (because those who have would gladly help those who are in REAL need). It is too bad this is only a fairy tale, a dream, a desire, etc... Most people are by nature greedy, immoral, inhumane, racist in some way and like social separation and classism. Most people take crime and abortion so lightly now that it isn't even shocking anymore. Sad!

    Fabulous question CloudExplorer!

Their would first be quality food and health care for all living species, especially humans.

My second priority would be to change the educational systems by implementing, at the earliest possible levels, the following courses:

    1) The Definition of Love
    2) The Art of Gratitude
    3) The Gift of Forgiveness
    4) The Reason for Collaboration
    5) Self Examination and the Impact of the Ego
    6) Understanding Your Callings and The Act of Co-Creation
    7) The Power of Peace (including mandatory peace rallies)

There would be remedial study for slower learners and accelerated classes for those with the desire to help teach others.

Everyone would have a mentor and a coach to help them obtain their goals, providing the outcome of those goals was for the highest good of all concerned.

After this I would enroll myself as the first student. Then I would share the idea that everyone already possesses all they need to change the world and they can start immediately. All they had to do was to choose to begin by surrendering themselves, asking for whatever help they needed, and taking the first step forward.

Then I would throw the biggest celebration the world had ever seen!

There's more, but I'm currently overwhelmed with gladness for having contributed so much with so little! (Gentle Chuckle!)

I would begin by educating everyone and open up their minds to new and different things and ideas. Fanatics, zealots, dictators, and a thinking of "my way or the highway" would be removed from society. Acceptance and inclusion would be the norms. Shock jocks and political pundits would be no more. Finally, everyone would contribute to an economically fair society.

Explain the answer in grave detail?"  I'd like to but it'd take me forever!
But i do have an idea, SUSTAINABILITY.
Managing resources through out. Each state will have their own specialties such as wet lands for farming , some may produce oil, food, some maybe rich in raw materials and other in minerals, medicine, industries, education etc. Maybe i am going backward a little but given the distribution in the grasp of each state's productions as a responsibility, each may have an equal hand in development and the economy as a whole. It may sound crazy but we've all got to start somewhere..smile

i would make it so that everyone that works in some way, makes the same as the next person. no billionaires while others barely make it from paycheck to paycheck. each person would have to do something to get money and the ones that refuse to work are put in work camps. the disabled can work so i'm sure some welfare bum can.

Before I began changing the world I would look in my own backyard, because how can anyone legitimately claim to know what is best for everyone when his/her own life is lacking clarity. In addition there is the presumption in always thinking that what is beyond your own yard is somehow more intriguing or better in some fashion, when in fact it is merely different geographically. I think what we currently have is quite unique and diverse and certainly unpredictable, which makes life intriguing and exciting. And quite often people presume to think that because they like something, then everyone else must like it too.

If I had the power and money to change anything it would be to take care of my family and to better myself as man. I believe that what we have in America is unique and special, yet everyone is always seeking to change it into something that is some place else in the world. I often wonder why as it already exists.  Perhaps, there are these distinctions to provide people choice to decide for themselves and if they are not strong enough to decide, then perhaps they are not yet ready for change.

As I see this, if you create a life worth emulating others will naturally follow.

I would work to eliminate income inequality, eliminate racism, sexism, and homophobia (as well as all the other isms/phobias) out there, and eliminate poverty and disease.  I guess that would be Day 1.... smile

I would change the way our economy works so that everyone is empowered, that there would be no need to work a job or income simply for survival sake.

I would have a world in which a project like getting to the asteroid belt and mining the asteroids for Earth's resource needs would be met.

Education would be free for all.

    No 'isms'.

Full cultural, spiritual, financial and sexual freedom.
