Is it good for the Republican Party that Santorum has backed out of the presidential race?

Now that Santorum is out of the race, will this help the Republican party stop beating one another up and allow the focus to be on beating Obama?  Will this help to increase their chances of beating Obama and the Democrats in November now that Romney appears to be the candidate?

Where is the point of such question? You have two incompetent candidates fighting for the president seat. Are they different from each other? No. So who cares which one leaves first, because it won't change the data of the game. At the end, we the people will pay. Had it be Ron Paul, it would have been another story.

Well truth is it was Romney's super packs who started beating up on the other candidates long before they ever went negative, which they did only to fight back, Any harm Romney received from this process he more than deserves as his attacks on Gingrich and Santorum were dishonest and frankly demonstrated his lack of morality - he should make a great President.

As one who has lived in PA, the US should rejoice that Santorum has dropped out...especially women....
