Did you, as I, vote for Obama and are sorry for it?
I am a lifelong republican who voted for Obama. I felt republicans were ignoring healthcare. Now we have a monstrosity called Obama are that will bankrupt us. I' going back to the republicans. Hopefully they understand we want a sane resolution to healthcare that is affordable for the country. Do you feel the same? Different?
I didn't vote because I am in Texas and my vote for Obama wouldn't have mattered, but that's how I would have voted. Before you go regretting your choice, think about the landscape at that time. Think about the choice the Republicans gave you. First off, after the Bush years, the world really needed to see we the people elect a man who was both not in Bush's party and not another white guy. Second, I used to be a fan of McCain until that Presidential run. When you're advanced in years as he was and still is, don't select Palin as your running mate. Can you imagine if it were those two? Would that really be any better? I think you made the right choice.
Neither Democrats nor Republicans understand the distinct conflict that exists when you put basic human needs at the whims of profit motive. Re healthcare, both parties want to sell citizens out to the insurance industry. The only question is, with what rhetoric?
Couldn't have said it better. I won't waste the time answering! You took my words.
Thanks for cutting to the chase and saying that both sides have pretty serious problems dealing effectively with this vital concern. Is there no one out there who will simply develop a plan for the impoverished uninsured? That is my concern.
I'm not sorry, for I assume it would be just as bad or worse under McCain and no one else was going to win.
I'm sorry we have a two party monopoly that limits our real choice to vanilla and vanilla bean.
Peace,
Tex Shelters
If obama had lost, mcain/palin would still have a full army in iraq, a full army in afkanistan and we would be at war with iran. If you think obamacare is expensive take a look at the military budget and what it would be right now if obama had lost.

This is the fourth time I'm asking this. It seems like more are sorry, especially the ones with no job.

Reasons why not to vote for the McCain/Palin ticketUnless your net income is more than $250,000, why would you vote for McCain? The 3% tax cut for the wealthiest people was voted by the legislature pushed through by the Bush administration. It is due to expire. McCain wants the tax cut to be...
