So have you ever been in a drunken brawl? Did you enjoy it? Was there any remorse later?

Well, once we had a party where people got drunk and one of them knocked hard on our neighbour's door to come out. He was thinking it was a funny thing to do in the middle of the night. Our neighbour, an 50-something guy did come out with a kitchen knife in hand and drove into the apartment where we were partying. Someone said the name of the guy, so our neighbour knew who to look for.

I wasn't drunk but I was in a fight at a club. This drunken guy was bothering my wife so I said let's leave and as we got to the door he grabed her and tried to pull her back so I hit him. He started screaming at me and came back at me so I hit him harder and he fell down.(mostly because because he was drunk)We left while he tried to get up. Did not enjoy it I wasn't proud of what I did, I had to do something.

It's not 'fun' or without consequence like in the movies. Frantic, unpredictable, and very dangerous. People get hurt.

Don't remind me of those days. I  have learned violence is not the answer usually. Much remorse yes.

drunken bravado...hmmm...yes I do have some memory of those days. Most are not good ones. I've learned we have a tendancy to fight over things that don't matter and refuse to fight for those that do....

lololo  WHY am I not surprised at the posters here?

As for me, OH SURE, wink.  Um, but last time I was a little drunk was when we went to Ken's Creekside and listened to that Latin guitar music.  That count? lol

I think this post is a commentary on the political commentary in the forums these days, hahaha...

Because it is great satire!  Albeit unintentional, probably.

lol...but oh, yeah, you really don't get that, do you?  Ron Montgomery has pointed that out time and time again.

I was involved in one in my late teens at a keg party . Me and about 30 other people that is . When you are young and dumb that is what you do . But I did finish the job ! No regrets or remorse here . But now I only have the occasional verbal barb session . Hopefully we outgrow that  type of behavior , I know I have . I have not even taken a swing at somebody In 25 years .

ive been in quite a few drunken brawls...usually i was attacked by single members of a frat..than many members of a frat joined in.

I always walked away, nobody ever died, only a few ambo trips (not for me)...all in all, a good time and good stories for all

Good for you, but there are a lot more serious folks out in the world than some frat boys and things don't always work out so cleanly.

So all you young folks out there - don't get into fights.

        And stay in school!

I've never been in one but I saw one - it really is like in the movies! When I saw barroom brawls in movies, I got annoyed because one fight would start and suddenly everyone was fighting and it had nothing to do with where it started. Now I can say that IS how it happens, I saw it with my own eyes - a bunch of drunken men throwing punches, tables, and chairs. It erupted all at once throughout the entire club after a couple of guys started fighting. Bizarre.

Does slapping your oldest son's stepmother in a bar when you have both been drinking and she says something really mean about my son count?? Also, there was the time I went to a bar with a guy and another guy asked if he could dance with me...My date/fiance said ok, as long as you don't touch her. Everything was great until I started walking off the floor and he made the mistake of grabbing my arm...5 guys jumped him all at once. It was awful. I felt sorry for him.
