   I would immediately mend our relationship with Israel and let her enemies know that an attack on Israel would be considered an attack on the US.  I would institute a covert action program to destabilize the government of Iran and, if they choose to do it, I would lend direct support to the Israeli effort to take out Iran's nuclear capabilities.

      I have a feeling those things are being done already, although started before Obama I'm sure. We will never know the details but hopefully someday there will be peace over there.

   I would pull every troop out of every country and kick the UN out of America.  World government is just around the corner and we are either going to participate or not.  To participate we must subrogate our constitution to that of a world body's.  Goodbye sovereignty and the making of our own laws.  We, naturally, will then be subject to what's best for the world, not what's best for the United States.

      I agree about the UN, but don't think it's realistic. It would end up weakening us in the end. We just need to stand up to them more instead of trying to be so damn politically correct and agreeable. Others aren't agreeable, so why should we be?

      KK, I see the sense of what you are saying.  But when the UN could not survive without our funding then it makes the subject of funding our own subjugation highly undesirable.  As to weakening, I believe it would strengthen us.  All our troops here.

   I would pull all troops out of every foreign country, and adopt a "mind-your-own-business" politically neutral/non-aligned policy for the country (like Sweden and Switzerland). 
   That would also mean that humanitarian aid/charity would also need to recognize the ages-old adage of, "charity begins at home."  No more trying to save the world, when we have so many citizens of our own in dire need of everything from housing to food and clothing.
   No more 'monitoring' of other countries' elections to insure fair play, when so much corruption and cheating goes on in our own system....
