   No one should want to change their partner. Relationships are not about changing people to suit your needs or wants. Relationships are about acceptance of the one you've come to love.

   That his insecurities would not be taken out  on me over and over with such anger countless times  and twenty-eight years later  ended in divorce

   My hubby is just as he is..........
   
   There is not one single about him that I would change..............
   
   The 'change' would be...............that I would give almost anything to  undo the disappointments that he has seen in me..................oh yeah, to be a diamond in his eyes again.
   
   He has flaws, but is still my " hero"........I would like to know that he views me likewise.   After 30 years, you just don't focus on these things.

   First of all, we meet and know our partner for who they are. We fall in love to them on the qualities they have. So, there is no need to change our partner to be the person we want them to be. Differences makes relationship even stronger. All you need to do is sit sown with your partner and talk about that differences so that you can adjust to it.
