Would building the Maglev help or hurt the economy?
I think it would be a great idea to begin construction of the Maglev monorail here in the US. Not only would it bring us into the future but it is a form of clean, more efficient transportation. Millions of jobs would be created, our reliance on gas and oil would be reduced and our harm to the environment would also be decreased. What are your thoughts?
It would be a great help to both the immediate economy for construction and reduce our use of natural resources for personal transportation. However, it would entirely depend on how many commuters would use it once it was in operation. A survey would be a good start to know just how many people would at least consider using it, before any serious plans would be set in motion.
