What would you do if you were president for a day?

Make the Supreme Court in charge of setting the salaries and benefits of the other two branches of the government. No one should be able to set their own salaries. The justices would have nothing to lose by making these decisions and just maybe Congress (and to a lesser extent the President) would feel accountable to somebody other than an electorate that apparently is easily duped.
