Is that the purpose of the news? Point out others flaws? True unbiased journalism (which doesn't exist) shouldn't have too. I watch fox and read foxnews.com, but I find the "bias alert" a bit ridiculous.
You should listen to the MSNBC hosts slamming Fox, if you're amused by the intramedia attacks.
Haha, yea. I am well aware of what other news corporations have to say about Fox. None of it is journalism and doesn't deserve to be called such. Just because someone bashes you doesn't give you the right to bash back. It's not professional.
So they're all unprofessional. Or at least I gather, in this odd and convoluted way in focusing on only one of them, that's your point. Is that right? Not trying to be picky here, just trying to understand. Why hold one to a higher standard?
They are all unprofessional. That is my point. Journalism has died with interest based news. Not just picking on Fox. Just thought it would start the conversation more with using them as an example. I was wrong.
Yes. Well, perhaps the height of a political campaign with the media blatantly divided between opposing biases wasn't the best time to illustrate that point by using one side alone as the example.
That is exactly why I did it haha. I read and watch Fox (and CNN) more than the others. I wanted to hear other opinions on the matter. Plus, my mom said the exact same thing as you when I asked her the question.
All of the new outlets are biased, but FOX is blatantly biased to the point of being an arm of the GOP.
