Do you think there is confidence left in America
People don't want to take risk these days. There are too many followers and not enough leaders.
There is no confidence in the existing leadership among those Americans who create prosperity. They have retrenched to wait out the election and see what comes next.
If change comes in Washington, then hope returns to the people who still earn instead of rent-seek. That will make a noticeable difference. Whether or not it develops into a renewal of American progress is something we will have to find out later.
Confidence in America has eroded in recent years due the uprising of China, India and South East Asia. Americans are losing their jobs to these countries. While America is still the center of innovation and technology, I'm afraid this won't last because more and more American kids are shunning higher education in science and technology, while other nations are fast catching up. So America is in danger of losing its competitive edge.

Since it's beginning, America has been based on, "slavery, white supremacy and oligarchy ..."This understanding is just not true and the majority of the citizenry know it. How any individual or group of individuals think(s) they can get away with such HOGWASH is beyond me!!!!

I don't normally get involved in political debates, but had to wade into this one. Some foolish American magazine has made the following comment:"The controlling of medical costs in countries such as Britain through rationing, and the health consequences thereof, are legendary. The stories of...
