How shall conscientious people defend our nation and the world while in and out of uniform?

“I, _____, do solemnly swear and affirm that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me ___.” With exception to an empty harddrive, only a conscientious person is trustworthy; are those who are aware of their conscience perhaps the only men and women worthy to wear the uniform? Yes

First with our voice (First Amendment); speaking locally. Writing, calling and e-mailing our state and federal representatives and voting.

    Lastly, exercising our second amendment.

"This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their constitutional right of amending it or their revolutionary right to dismember it or overthrow it."    -- Abraham Lincoln, 4 April 1861
