Now we have voted, how can we go on?

The phone has gone cold. The mailbox is empty. The knocks on the door are coming no more. The  celebrities have returned to their mansions in Malibu, the high officials suddenly have no time for us, the colorful posters are already fading. Where will we go, what will we do, now the &^%$%$#^& election is through?

I mean... the whole point of getting elected is to be better positioned to get re-elected, right?

Time to hold those who win the elections collective feet to the fire and demand that they follow the Constitution...not time to hide until 2014!

Praying for the believers and fighting for the atheists. In what way our future will improve? Both aspiring presidents aim at the destruction of the American society. With cuts on our wages, social advantages, with the employment outsourced in the Asian market, with a dollar that lost 96% of its value (wouldn't it be better to dump it?), with an increasing debt, with the progressive loss of our freedom, with a belligerent foreign policy...? What is our future?

Wish that you have made the right choice. But then you may not get the person you want as President so you do not get what you are looking for.

It boils down to making the right decision for the person in power so that you can see the changes you are looking for.

that was just the beginning. In your state and every single other state we all have other issues to vote on (death penalty in CA) and other things to work on. We still need to fix a lot that is going on not only with political matters but also with other community issues.

We can all go on by realizing that the government is not there to give people handouts and fix everything that is wrong. We all should take responsabilty for our own lives. The candidates spent billions to get elected so they could just fill us with empty promises. Take charge of your own life and your own economy.

Yeah, those bank handouts were unforgivable.

We will go on living our lives and doing whatever we can to make them better.  Life does not end because one man or another won an election.  In the end, it is up to each of us to determine our own fate.
