What does Obama Care include that will make employers convert full time employees to part time ?
I was in Wal-mart on 12-3-2012 and the cashier told me that at the first of the year, all the full time employees are going part time because of Obama Care. The cashier said that she had been a full time employee for 7 years and now, she does not have a choice but to go part time. Are other companies doing this too ? Will the companies still have to furnish Obama Care medical insurance for part time employees? What is the advantages of a company going with part time employees ?
In order for them to cover insurance for employees, a person must work a certain number of hours. One of my oldest friends was fired after 15 years. She had been a front line supervisor and started working in the office counting money. She and her co-worker were no good at it. Deposits would be off. She asked to go back to being a cashier. They would not let her be a cashier full time. (That is why Wal-mart doesn't want a union.) Anyway, my friend said she stepped out in the hall, it was caught on video. They fired her.
Companies are going to cut back employees to 30hrs or less so they won't have to pay for health care.
