What do you do to remember Benazir Bhutto. ?
On December 27th 2012 it will be 5 years to the day since the assassination of Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto. People all over the world do different things to mark the anniversary of this legendary Politicians life and death.
Some people light a candle, some say prayers, others write poetry about Benazir Bhutto. I personally fast in remembrance of a woman whom was like light. What do you do to remember Benazir Bhutto. On her anniversary and through the year....
Benazir Bhutto, a wonderful, beautiful woman, good politician, and daughter of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. I remember her exceptionally well. I remember that I was afraid for her life and couldn't understand that she seemed not to notice the existing danger (though she has survived few murder attempts, she wasn't invulnerable). As she was assassinated, I was deeply disappointed that it actually happened, and that her murderer, in fact, was able to kill her. It was one of the saddest days in my life, something like a second September 11th 2001.
I'm surprised that it is already five years since her death. A sad anniversary. I'll probably do anything noteworthy on this day, I feel sadness about Benazir Bhutto every time when I'm thinking about her. The day itself matters not much for me; however, I like very much your intention to fast on the anniversary of her death.
Sadly her assassin, or people behind her assassination, weren't taken to any responsibility for this crime (this is what I know, I might be not better informed in this case).
Jantamaya your answer bought some tears to my eyes. Benazir Bhutto was everything you say she was in yoru answer. I have fasted many times and prayed often since Benazir Bhutto was assassinated. I'll miss Benazir Bhutto for the rest of my life. .
