Why did President Obama seek answers from Jay Leno when embassies around the world are threatened?

While terror is doubling through irrational and illogical governance, the individual in charge runs to a comedian to stimulate the fallacies of his administration. This is not a lame-duck, this is an illegitimate-duck. It sure appears that this quack should be sacked.

Obama will continue to campaign, even during the last few weeks of his term in office. This is just how he does things. If he hasn't changed by now he never will.

I definitely agree. He will always campaign while leading from behind. That is why his administration is filled with scandal. Much worse than nixon or clinton.

What should he do, Taburkett? Sit in the Oval Office and wait for the phone to ring? Or maybe go out and knock on doors and see if anyone has better ideas? Better yet, he should tune into FoxNews where he can hear himself being trashed and called everything from stupid to a communist. Bill O'Reilly has all the answers. Maybe he should go on there instead. Maybe Hannity. They would get along great. If he would walk on water, you and the rest of your Republican friends would complain that he wasn't wearing the right color shoes. The man is human. I am sure that he is very sorry that he wasn't doing EXACTLY what you thought he should be doing. Next time, he will call you first to see what direction that you want him to take. By the way, what should he be doing and how?

He should lead by example. Since the nation is broke he should not spend wildly while his embassies are under attack. He should act @presidential not comical. He should take responsibility not play campaign comic.

...and the tumbleweed rolls by while no laughter is heard....

    Oh, so funny!

Sure glad this was an unbiased and well-thought-out *question*!  As far as stimulating fallacies - a non sequitur and complete fumble of interpretation - sounds like a personal problem to me!

I guess we should never be surprised by a failure. But then we should also hope that the failure is not sitting in the most important position. When they are, things get so bad another Benghazi might arise. This is just another scandal brewing

Unlike the epitome of success who preceeded our present POTUS.  Starting a war over 9/11 was a mistake.  Declaring wmds to be everywhere beyond Western Europe,  the "Mission Accomplished!" nonsense...why yes - such utter successes.

There is no way to fix what has already been replaced. The current POTUS is the scandal of the moment. Therefore, restoration is all about what is happening now. Only children play the blame someone else game. Adults fix problems - children run away.

Can dish it but not take it, eh?  You called our current president a failure.  I brought out the hypocrite in you in this last response of yours that you think  you can call the current POTUS a failure without being called upon to recall Bush W??

it is difficult for liberals to move forward because they are always trolling backward. this is due to their inability to deal with truth. so they indulge in daydreaming about something that can never be fixed to take the heat off the things that can

That is the most illogical statement I have heard in eons.  Leave it to a conservative to spew one  logical fallacy after another in a desperate attempt to avoid the POINT!

The point is that the current President has increased the debt more than anyone before and placed the nation at great risk due to his inadequate ability. His inept ability will continue this trend. truth-he is a failure. People need to accept it.

It's time to put up something besides trite, partisan generic criticism and predictions of horror.  HOW is Obama a failure?  How has HE single-handedly raised the national debt?  And if you say the AHA ("Obamacare"), I have one response:  worth it.

Most spending without return of any president. Failure to create fulltime jobs. Anyone willing to destroy the nation with obamacare does not care to hear the truth. Obama congress and everyone should live or destroy under it if it is so wonderful-NOT

Truth is, every Republican sees each Democrat as a failure and vice versa. Standing in the middle, I can see both are usually correct. What I do believe, however, is everyone truly wants what's best for the country. How to do it is where the issue is

taburkettposted 11 years agoin reply to this

Truth is failure is failure. But some justify it as political. This only leads to division. The patriot only recognizes and attempts to fix the failure. This is true regardless of political party generating the failure. cannot fix 08 but we can 14.

How does a president who was too busy to meet with Israel's prime minister find time to be on talk shows. I swear where is the dignity of the office?

    1. taburkett profile image59
taburkettposted 11 years agoin reply to this

There is no dignity - only childish behavior. The nation needs a strong leader, but has elected a corruptive campaigner. The scandals will only continue to rise until the campaigner is removed from office.

OH puh-leeeze!  He's a second termer.  Where is this "campaigner" nonsense coming from.  I'll tell ya that's exactly what you would've gotten from Richie Rich Romney.  He was a governor in absentia and would have behaved the same way as the Pres.

    3. taburkett profile image59
taburkettposted 11 years agoin reply to this

He is called a called a campaigner because he is always trying to sell his corrupt ideas. A leader is supposed to remain on the job, not jet around like a Hollywood idol. But then, that is what naive people voted for and so that is what they got. ASP

To disapprove of Obama's actions is not necessarily an endorsement for Romney.  Surely there must be someone out there who can turn this country around without being on a talk show.

Because Obama used a comedy show  to communicate with a large audience, you call him childish? Is the Pope childish also because he tweets?

    6. taburkett profile image59
taburkettposted 11 years agoin reply to this

President Obama uses childish actions rather than being able to speak while treating others with respect. His narcissistic attitude has permeated the administration and created an environment full of scandal. He is endlessly preoccupied by himself
