Will Washington wait for real proof that the Syrian government was responsible for gas attacks?

Obama has asked the Senate to attack Syria even though the real facts regarding supposed gas attacks against civilians.
Who did the gas attacks is still unknown and is just as likely to have been the extremist who would like to trick the US into taking down the Assad governments military capabilities.
Why would Assad use gas in a war he was already winning and risk foreign involvement?
As Russian president Putin has said "It makes no sense".

One, Obama has no intention of attacking Assad. Two, if you call losing 80% of the country and half the capital city to the rebels, winning..... you have a lot to learn. Obama needs Hezbollah and all their thousands of rockets to put to the throat of Israel. Without Assad, there is no Hezbollah.

The battles in Syria have gone back and forth but indications are that the government would win.

Obama's, or should I say his puppeteers, end game isn't to help Syrian rebels it is to drag Iran into a war with the US. Another endlessly protracted spending orgy for the sake of the profiteers.
