Ever said something and knew it was wrong?

    And now regret saying it?

It happens while speaking in favor or against in the debate competitions during school / college time.

Sometimes you are told to speak in favor or against the topic (and you don't select it). That is the time, one may not be fully convinced oneself but it is an academic gain - so no regrets.

Of course.  It happens to everyone sometimes, especially children learning to control impulses to blurt out things in anger that they don't really mean, except maybe in that moment.  Hopefully, as an adult, though, one can learn how to forgive.  In forgiving, one must also forgive one's self. It is the key to letting go of regret that can prevent happiness.

I feel like I say something "wrong" every day!  It usually happens when I am verbal babbling to fill uncomfortable silences or when I am trying to dodge being controlled by other people.  It's a jungle out there.

Yes.  Sometimes we say something in the heat of the moment.  A lot of times I regret it sad
