There was a nice bake-off at our local church, I went to that, does this count?
I used to be, but not anymore. They just keep saying the same stuff over and over, with little evidence to back it up. I also got burned big time when I inadvertently joined a cult. But it works for some people, and I respect that.
Which cult? I've never joined one before! They're pretty exciting. :-b
It's not a famous cult, so you wouldn't recognize it. You can read about it in my hub, "My Experience in a Cult". Actually most of them are quite boring and damaging. If you've never joined one, great! You're missing nothing, believe me!
Are they boring? They shouldn't be - for my cult-dollar I expect top notch entertainments. Maybe a few exorcisms. Ghost summoning at the very least! ;-)
swope - I was in a vulnerable spot, and the minister talked a good talk. You can read about it in my aforementioned hub. definitions - your statement makes me feel like an idiot. Most ex-cult members do.

There is a worship team that is basically musicians. There is a case I know of where a teenage girl has...

How long ago did you first join hubpages? If you recently joined hubpages, then this question does not apply to you, meaning for those who joined within the last few days or so, you need to have been a member for at least a week to answer.
